Jane Rose Porter is a writer and editor based in Brooklyn, New York. Her stories, essays, and articles have appeared in publications including The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Fast Company, Real Simple, Men's Health, American Literary Review, Baltimore Review, Fourteen Hills, Kenyon Review, Colorado Review, and The Chronicle of Higher Education. She was a 2013 Emerging Writer Fellow at the Center For Fiction and has been awarded residencies by the Jentel Artist Residency Program, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and the Wildacres Residency Program. In addition to an MFA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College and a BA in English from Brown University, she has more than a decade of journalism and writing coaching experience.
